Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an EHR/Clinical Applications Administrator on a Full-Time opportunity with a leading institution inNew York,NY.

Job Description
This role will be responsible for the administration of the institution's EHR system and all related clinical applications. This role will serve as the principal subject matter expert for the EHR. Previous experience with dental applications or enterprise scale EHR applications is required.
Responsibilities will include application configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting (in conjunction with vendor) and report writing.
The position supports all EHRend-users including clinical, administrative, and research and will support complete patient care, revenue cycle, and clinical education environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Application installation/upgrade/troubleshooting, configuration, end-user support for application problems and requests
Serve as subject matter expert for application (specific previous knowledge of application not required)
Report Writing:

Analyze information in EHR system to establish knowledge of data model for accurate retrieval and use in report writing
Utilize available tools such as TSQL, Crystal
Design and produce necessary reports in support of clinical, business, and academic operations
Present report data in meaningful and accessible way
Collaborate with end users to gather report requirements and ensure proper testing and validation


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (required)
4 years experience in IS, Business Ad, or systems analysis and system design specific to Health Information Technology
Experience with Dental practice management software i.e. axiom Enterprise, Dentrix Enterprise (not required)
Report writing and tool knowledge i.e. Crystal Reports, Oracle PLSQL
Knowledge of DB concepts

Data comm. processes and network design
Knowledge of principles and trends in application software
Ability to interpret and implement data models into relational data bases
Additional database experience preferred

Critical thinking and Decision making

Analyze stakeholder requirements and be able to translate them into rational and cohesive application configuration



Education

Bachelor's required (Medical Informatics or Computer Science preferred)
